Had a very productive week in Calcutta. SRFTI is errrrr...phantasmagoric. Met a great bunch of people there. Ah yes, if you are wondering...I was there for Docedge.

Calcutta was cold, ergo, I finally got to wear a jacket I had bought many moons ago...picked up a few books from Landmark, had some great steak at OlyPub.

My mind did take sometime to accommodate the early sunrise/sunset scene in Calcutta...1730 and sundown...so when you think it is 2100, in actuality, its 1900. Damn!

So anyhu, I'm back in Bombay, with tonnes of work and am slightly worried for no particular reason.

I haven't gone home yet.

My mom called me up this morning and informed me one of our neighbours lost her son in yesterdays blast. He suffered a head injury on the train which blew up between Mira Road & Bhayender. He got on the train at Mira Road.

Another friend of mine lost a colleague from work. They said their goodbyes at Dadar.

Urmi, another friend of mine who works for CNN IBN was first on the scene at Matunga, and she spoke to me a few minutes ago.

But all through this Mumbai has shown a very brave face. I saw people who were out on the Western Express Highway handing out food and water to everyone who was heading home last night.

It's mindnumbing...
